And the title is basic.Treasure adventure world doesn't do anything new or excite you, but it will never anger or annoy you either. It is a very simple experience in a large world. It's not a prime time game. It is, however, a very solid filler game when there is no other game to play. It's pacing is solid and it is lengthy, so when you're waiting for the next game to come around the corner give TAW a shot, it might just help you pass the time.. Outstanding project! As a big fan of the metroidvania genre I've played the original Treasure Adventure Game some years ago, and I was quickly wowed by the fun and creativity of that little unassuming indie-game. The treasure-hunting started out somewhat linear but quickly opened up as you gained new tools and abilities. The world felt alive, puzzles were clever, boss-fights were memorable and surprises were found around every corner. Naturally the remake was an easy day-one buy for me. I've only just started to scratch the surface of Treasure Adventure World, but already it's obvious the charm of TAG is all there. The additonal polish in the form of cute, modern graphics, remastered music and improved controller support is very welcome. In the first few hours I've also noticed some differences in puzzles, quests and progression compared to the original, so even if you've played that, TAW offers a somewhat fresh experience.With that said, I'm excited to go on an adventure - again. Ahoy!
